    I actually disagree. The Knicks are actually a better team this year than they were even two years ago when they made the playoffs. They actually improved the roster this year and moved in a positive direction. The problem is that the East has been getting exponentially better and quite a few teams are still echelons above the Knicks (i.e. Bucks, Celtics, Nets, Sixers) or they are teams that made greater improvements to their rosters than the Knicks (i.e. Hawks, Magic, Bulls, even the Pistons). I think the Knicks just need to keep doing what they are doing now keep developing the young guys and keep drafting well. Everyone needs to stop with the "lets sign the next disgruntled superstar" thing as it never works.
