This isnt the same grizzlies we saw half way through last season, last year they were 9-10 to start, then they changed gear, and every game was a blow out either way, i genuinely think they are fine tuning still, like last year. Rewatch some of the preseason and first games, they were flawless, like globetrotters, i was a little intimidated.
They have a target on their backs too, for all the noise, the nba needed the grizzlies right now.
Adams couldnt stop kat, but nobody else could either, his stats didnt change with adams out. Thats on jenkins, he should have run dillon on kat and run a 212 zone. They could have worn them down putting adams in everytime kat came out, they would have rushed him back in and sapped his energy for the 4th q.
Speaking of dillon yall need to give him his dues as well, watch how much he guards, its as powerful as stevo is at getting rebounds, hes always just a step behind instead of 3 like everyone else, dude is playing pre-defense like coach always said "stick to him like glue, dont let him get the ball". Grizzlies have jobs to do and they do them well, they are all to blame for wins and losses. Like super powers. Dillion is last minute clutch full court press 100% of the time.
