We suck ass but anyone else feel bad for AD? Dude fighting through pain and illness because this dumb “street clothes” narrative and still plays well but the reality is our roster is just not good enough. Props to AD though

  1. I dont feel bad at all. He should fight even harder. Hes paid like 50 millions per year for it

  2. RipCity501st

He’s a warrior. It’s a disgrace plays aren’t being ran for him/people not even being able to make entry passes to him.

Also he sat for too long to start the 4th. AD was out there with 4 guard lineups in the 4th too, wtf.

  3. paradauxs

dude has been battling. we can give him that. but he is obviously not comfortable at the 5. something has to change.

  4. ThisAnswerIsLit

Give him Myles Turner and you’ll see ADPOY again

  5. 7DS_Escanor

His effort is fading away every second half. Russ trying to pass him the ball in the fourth but AD can’t get his position right.

  6. kanekikochaboggy

Keep AD and bron. Flush this roster by the deadline. Keep the picks. Look to see if they can get any second round picks / other expirings for Lonnie , Beverley, Nunn etc

Go again next season with a good center and couple of solid role players in off-season. Reaves and christie are keepers as well

AD still has it. Bron can also still be efficient I hope. Pelinka just has not been able to hit on the margins these past two seasons.

Maybe he can sign some okay talent with the cap space.

  7. Ultimately Russ still has to go. His contract is just a big waste. Because of him we have 50m worth of space stuck on a role player. He had his good moments this season, but ultimately his basketball IQ is still just not good enough to be the 3rd best player on a good team. He averages like 5 boneheaded plays per game regardless of how good/bad he plays.

  8. WLVTrojanMan

Just sit him and let him rest to get healthy. Then trade him

  9. LovetheNBA23

Dude that spacing sucks. He can’t do shit on the catch because he gets doubled immediately.

  10. Dismal_Committee_696

Hes been playing good as a center in my opinion. Team is literally full of g leaguers rob pelinka is going to hell

  11. Character_Safety_519

Bro I just feel bad that they double him and his teammates stand around doing nothing. Jfc someone dive to the basket or open up a passing lane

  12. black-rhombus

The roster is not good enough to beat the Kings? That’s not true.

Fox was winning the game for the Kings, right? Where was AD? When is AD going to take over a game and win it for us? It’s been a long time since we’ve seen that.

  13. TheWhisperingDeath

    AD is a nice dude.

If I were in his position, I would have gone ether on the Lakers’ management.

  14. dawgybone

Ad is washed I’ll take Paul George over dude

  15. AD and street clothes narrative is total shit. He NEEDS real 5 so he can play more freely in 4. I think our front office is too stupid to see that. I mean just look at 2020 even with DH and McGee he carried us to the ring. Fuck them picks or whatever needed and get this man a CENTER. And sign some shooters while at it smh.

  16. Nightmare4545

He needs to sit honestly. No reason to play him and Bron hurt if we are going to lose anyway.

  17. Wooden-Image-4332

He’s a power forward and thrives with a center on the court. Can’t believe pelinka who’s paid millions is not even qualified for his job and has ruined laker basketball

  18. prionzeta

We need to free him and facilitate rebuilding with the picks we get in trade.

  19. ICEINMYVEINS23

Lakers should do him a favor and trade him to a contender with actual NBA caliber players that can shoot 3 pointers.

  20. levantoo

He can’t do shit down the stretch because the whole other team just throw bodies at him. It’s sad watching the man can’t even get a post up because they just triple team him off ball.

  21. ArchAngelN7

Feel bad for a dude doing his job instead of sitting out on the bench? Nah. AD is soft as tissue paper

  22. Brock-Lesnar

The entire 4th quarter, the offense should be running through him if LeBron isn’t playing – not just in the clutch. Also was pathetic how no one had the balls to dive to the rim when he was doubled on the catch

  23. I hope he doesn’t burnout like Kobe did in 2013.

  24. thehugster

That loss is on Darvin ham. The kings double teamed ad at the end and he didn’t adjust while he didn’t double team fox. Simple as that

  25. TorontoRaptors34

Lowkey AD shoulda pulled a Kawhi man and dipped after getting a ring. He been hurt the past 2 seasons. Maybe both sides woulda been in a better position.

  26. forevervino

He’s been remarkable on the defensive end and in the post. People keep talking about no production in the 4th but that’s cause teams just deny ball and trap him and they’re forced to go the other way where no one can convert most of the time. Just needs to work on the shooting ability and athleticism/aggressiveness/physicality aspect. May be a mental thing due to previous injuries/being uncomfortable at the 5.

  27. xxxhotpocketz

AD just isn’t the same player he was in 2020, cause of injuries

Neither is Kawhi though, it’s a part of sports

  28. Love watching him pour his heart out, you know he’s hurtin out there. Feel like you don’t see that much at this level

  29. HughJefincock

AD needs to shoot the ball. Idc if he misses he still has to shoot. He’s lost confidence in his shot and made himself one dimensional. They need to stop trying to force him into being a post up 5 and let him be a stretch 4.
