    saying he’s a top 5 player isn’t crazy.

I remember after the finals people were saying he was t even the best player on the team.

Back in the day people used to say kuzma was better cause he got a 30 game first

This dude is playing out of his mind and making it look so easy.

Does he have a legit case for being the best all around player in the league?

Sure, other players can do some things better than him, and I’m not saying he’s the clear cut best player in the league, but I don’t think there’s anybody, right now, who can do as many things as well as he does. Like, elite 3 level scorer, elite defense, excellent playmaking, makes hustle plays, rebounds.

Like Giannis is probably the best player in the league, but he can’t shoot to save his life, and is shooting like 65% at the free throw line. Luka is probably the best scorer (although, he’s shooting <30% from three atm) but he’s atrocious defensively. Jokic is obviously a genius offensive player and playmaker, but he is bad-avg defensively, etc. Curry is transcendent, obviously, but again the defense.

I’d say it was Kahwhi but I don’t know if he still plays ball. It was Lebron in a vacuum, but he clearly can’t sustain it for a whole game anymore, let alone a whole season.

Definitely not clear cut, but I think you can make a strong argument for it.

Tatum was obviously awesome, but can we talk about Jaylen’s EIGHT assists. And they weren’t all simple handoffs into jump shots.

JB has shown serious progression in his vision.

Havlicek, Bird, Pierce and… Who? McHale? Cowens? Sam Jones?

Hate that Tatum isn’t clutch like Paul Pierce was. He doesn’t have many “dagger” moments yet. But man, how lucky we are to have a young superstar that’s drama free, stays away from the media, and just gets to work on a nightly basis. Love this team.
