Dlo has probably been trying to be traded since last year before the deadline.
The Ant drafting was never supposed to happen as far as Dlo knew. That pick was supposed to be traded for an additional win now piece at the time. I think Dlo has been trying to get out of here ever since last season when it was clear that plan failed and Ant was likely taking over.
His first full season here started with him playing off the bench, behind Ant and Culver in the first few games. I think we have no one to blame but our own franchise for what Dlo has become now. This has been his form of getting out, his form of Butler out.
After he wasn’t moved at deadline last season he “struggled”. Until we had Kat go out of the play-in game. Then he tore it up for one game and helped team into playoffs. Then Grizz series was dumped like the spring before it. Like we are getting now.
