  1. This version of the blazers reminds me of the 2019 squad that got to the wcf. I actually think this current roster is better. A ton of depth, and they can matchup with almost anyone with the lineups they can throw out there.

  2. When they acquired Jerami Grant, I had a feeling the team would improve but I didn't think they'd be this good. Dame is looking like a early season MVP candidate, Grant is showing what he's always been capable of as a role player, Anfernee Simons is shining as a legitimate star next to Dame, and the depth of Shaedon Sharpe, Josh Hart, Justice Winslow, and Grant make this team dangerous. Could definitely seen them being a Top 3 seed in the West this season.

  3. I depends what you mean , they are talented and will do well . Like how Atlanta was the 1 seed. Playoff wise they don’t have enough, maybe make the wcf.

  4. What's crazy is it's their defense that is actually winning their games for them. They have a top 10 defense while last year they were near dead last in defense and have been bad defensively for the last few years. And they don't even have arguably their best defender yet in GP2. Their offense hasn't really clicked fully either except for maybe the game against Denver, but when it does they are gonna be even scarier.

  5. Blazers record was 9-3 two days ago and in this just released video (Sat 11-12-22) they are talking about a 7-3 record which was almost a week ago. Why did it take so long to upload this? Thanks for giving the Blazers some attention / credit because they are LEGIT this year! ❤🖤🤍

  6. JJ, I love the NBA info you provide in the pod, you are a wise, well spoken, experienced, and intelligent human, but I don’t think you should relate everything it back to sports gambling. You’re a smarter man than that.

  7. No, you weren't wrong. This is way too early to talk like this. At the end of the season I'm betting you'll be regretting this whole conversation.

  8. Thank you JJ, everyone should take the Blazers very seriously. They are a young hungry team.

  9. I like the fact that the blazers team this season have got silent and not so flashy but solid efficient effective and talented guys. Also rooting for some other teams but I'll be pleased if they win the title this season.

  10. Blazers got players who will do the dirty work on the defensive side of the ball and can get buckets. Only gets more fun once GPII is back.

  11. One player I didn't hear JJ mention is Anfrenee Simmons. That boy is nice.

  12. Jarami Grant was my favorite free agent when the pistons got him. He did dribble too much as a piston but when he keeps his possessions short and attacks strong off the catch he's incredibly efficient and very fun too watch

  13. I expected the Blazers to be an 8-9 seed team coming into the season because I wasn't sure how Grant would play after his Detroit run. The standings are not what anyone would have expected but props to the Blazers and Jazz for proving people wrong

  14. I"m going to make $995 on a bet on the Blazers once we get to the end of the year and they've offiicially made the playoffs

  15. We actually won the game the other night with 3 brick layers on the court at the same time. Hart, Winslow and Watford… and we started Drew Eubanks at the 5. No Dame, no Nurk and no Sharpe. I can't remember the last time I've seen the Blazers playing competent defense and as we know defense travels. Our road record is better than our home record and we have 6 quality wins, Phoenix x 2, Denver, NO, Miami and Lakers. #6 rated defense, who would have thought. 16th rated offense, who would have thought? Can't wait till the O catches up with the D… we'll be alright with a 2 or 3 seed in the west.
