Joe Mazzulla: “Our guys have bought into making each other better.” | Celtics vs Nuggets

BOSTON, MA — Celtics Head Coach Joe Mazzulla was interviewed following Boston’s 131-112 win over the Denver Nuggets on Friday night. The Celtics have now ripped off a convincing five game win streak as they look to take on the Detroit Pistons on Saturday night.

Mazzulla said the cool thing about the Celtics offense is that the players need to make each other better, and said “our guys have bought into making each other better.”

  1. I understand the guard depth but Pritchard should get more playing time, he's a spark….

  2. i like mazzula's focus on the offensive end. if there was anything the celtics struggled with last season, it was offensive efficiency. they had a lot of lulls. but the ball movement and the personnel has improved a lot this year.

  3. I love Joe!!! His calm and focused presence is being reflected by the players on the court 💯💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽

  4. How can you not love this guy. Humble, engaging, available and clearly a vision for this team that is working well. Ime who?

  5. I learn a lot listening to Joe. He simplifies the game and communicates clearly. "Making your teammates better, whether you have the ball or not". i love that as a guiding principle for staying fully engaged and productive.
