  1. Overall the team has been scuffling the past couple weeks. Steph is playing out of his mind the past 4 games (MVP caliber so far this season).
They need to clean stuff up, particularly defensively going forward (really missing GP2 right now 😢). On a positive, the defense I saw from Klay against Mitchell late in the game was looking like All-NBA Klay from a few years back. If he’s moving his feet that well, he can reclaim that lockdown perimeter defense which will be very good, along with 2-way Wiggs and Draymond 💪

  2. I think steph curry just obtained permanent zone mode. It feels like the game comes so easily to him without any effort!! He will just get better from now on

  3. This was probably their best game of the season but still shows how far away they are from the team that won the chip last season. The defense was good down the stretch but terribly inconsistent for most of the game. It says a lot that in just a few games a 2 way contract player in Lamb seems to have solidified his place in the rotation ahead of all the rookies and Vets that were brought in in the off season. I mean what happens when the rape allegations against him start getting more attention as people start to find out who he is because of his play on this team?

Klay made some great plays on both ends down the stretch but was horrible for most of the game, his one saving grace is that he didn't end up hunting for his own shot too much. His body language after every miss is really telling, he's definitely not the same guy anymore. Asking him to guard fast guards and wings is just asking to get cooked most of the time too I think he is the one they need to hide on defense these days not Steph.

The officiating in this one was just flat out suspect. Seriously this had Lakers v Kings 2002 game 6 vibes. They have to be betting on the games to be making such bs calls. It doesn't matter which team they end up benefiting calls that bad should have no place in the game if you want the league to have any integrity at all.

  4. The defensive effort in which we saw against the Cavs needs to be sustained for us to see the Warriors push their ranking back into the top 5. In the 5 straight road losses, they looked quite lazy on the defensive end, and the opposition where getting easy buckets with basically 0 contest, however, against the Cavs (especially in the last quarter), the dubs looked energized and were playing the best defensive we've seen from them all year.

  5. This team is relying on Steph's outstanding offensive creation both on and off the ball. Golden state will need Steph to keep up his production because you can not rely on their young bench to produce at this point. He doesnt obviously need to go for 40 every game but Steph will need to stay aggresive all game/every game, at least until Poole and Klay find their rhythm. Health is a major factor as well.
