The gobert trade has an excellent chance to go down as this decade’s kg + pierce trade
The problem with the trade is they need to get rid of KAT dlo and finch. Gobert is actually doing what he normally does but they have terrible coaching dlo is playing garbage and KAT is just soft.
You left out that the Gobert trade set such a high standard of assets acquired that Kevin Durant couldn’t be traded

I still think they figure it out offensively. I'm watching all their games and I think it's either Dlo and Edwards not running the offense how Finch is designing it at times or Finch is not coordinating the offense well enough in general. Waaaaay to many isos. We have 2 all star bigs, keep running the double picks at the top of the key and something easy will open up.

We all knew it was the worst trade in NBA history. Yeah, KAT isn't a good rim protector and all that but you just gotta live with it. This is the new era. He is a versatile big man and no need to add another one into the mix… it destroys the offense. If you really wanted a good defensive center then just sign one for cheap in free agency. Don't give up all that draft capital and depth pieces for one… Wolves were fine the way they were…. Edwards is on the verge of being a superstar and this kills him. He can't get into the paint. This is the worst organization in pro sports.

The problem isn't Rudy, the main problem is the point guard spot. There is multiple other problems as well, but it's mainly D'lo

I would love to trade KAT and Dlo for a bag of chips. That would make me so happy. Its very hard watching these guys play. They perform like 5th graders.
I couldn't believe that this trade happened at the time. The Wolves gave up way too much (I don't think any team was coming anywhere close to their offer) and it just didn't make sense to make such a big move when their contention window was at least a year or two away. Now they either have to trade KAT, when the whole point of trading for Gobert was to help him shine, or trade Gobert for way less than they gave away for him. Just a disaster and I can honestly see Ant demanding a trade if they don't move either KAT or Gobert within the next two years.

In the games I’ve watched it’s not Gobert who is fault. It’s coaching and the guards sucking.
I knew this would happen. It isnt because they gave up so much, but more so because Anthony Edwards isnt ready to be a primary ball handler. Using Deangelo Russel off-ball isnt the answer. Especially since he is an elite pick and roll specialist, and has been so since 2016. Losing Patrick Beverly to free agency was also a big hit to their team identity, he was a bigtime leader for them. Set the example for the young guys and had them believing in that dog mentality.
