It is more like the Mav's roster remains the way it is because Luka plays that way. The best second level "stars" do not want to play with Luka. The main difference between LeBron and Luka is that in his prime LeBron was excellent at both ends of the floor.

The Lakers threw their future away. Kuzmza, Ball and Ingram is much better than anything they have now. They would have much more flexibility if they built through youth rather than shopping for superstars.
