The Danny Ainge Led Jazz Are Destroying A Narrative That He Built

The Utah Jazz are one of the most surprising teams in the NBA this season no question about it. The Jazz have just found their stride early in the same and the players have just bought in.

As a Celtics fan, I knew once Danny Ainge took over in Utah, they would look and be constructed different. And that almost happened immediately. Ainge traded away all the best players on the Jazz basically the first second he could for multiple picks. Just like he did with the Celtics and is rebuilding the core of the Jazz.

The Danny Ainge lead Jazz just have an underdog mentality. Similar to a few Celtics rosters that were just overachievers before the Tatum and Brown era started…just a bunch of good players not great players.

The Jazz may have adopted a model and have taken it to a whole new level with this current team.

Then talking to a friend, it dawned on me. Danny Ainge is destroying a narrative in the NBA that he built many years ago. The “superteam” roster building model, may be a thing of the past.

Had a lot of fun making this video and hopefully you really enjoy it.

Thanks!

  1. As a die hard Cavs fans this is bittersweet lol but Sexton is a dawg! Just wasn’t a good fit with the team we had! Wish them luck in Utah!

  2. Just thought of it now but Danny Ainge traded the pick used to take Sexton in the Kyrie trade and then ended up trade for sexton
