Really don’t know what they should do with him.

He’s a streaky shooter, and doesn’t fit into the vision of the team.

However he’s the only guard on the roster who can do PNRs at a decent rate, and they don’t have anyone close that can replace his role.

  2. He usually shoots around that percentage from the field if I’m not mistaken. It’s nothing new.

not an all star like i said last season. He is a good role player on a contending team

Yea that’s fvv . Always has been an inefficient shooter

Poole, RJ and Herro all got 30 M’s a year. FVV is better than all of them but I’m not giving him that contract

I did not expect our 2 guys in contract years (Fred and Gary) to be having such down seasons. Still early but a lot of money on the line for these guys and they are not playing up to what they could get this offseason

I liked how he was playing at the start of the season. Not forcing shots and playing within the flow of the game

Fred is a jump shooter, all jump shooters look human for stretches, even Steph curry ffs. Hes a very efficient shooter, go back 4 seasons and he shoots 38% from three on 9 attempts a game. Literally no one in the history of the nba other then Steph, buddy, and lillard have put together that sustained volume and accuracy.

He’s inefficient around the rim and on days hi shots not falling, it looks particularly bad. He has led the league in deflections for the last 4 seasons, and creates more gravity off the ball than anyone outside of curry. Thats the main reason we still ask him to play when he’s not at his best, he creates so much of our space. If you’re going to replace him, you need to fill both those holes, hes literally so integral to our teams identity

I see a lot of level headed, non reactionary takes in these comments

He’s had two bouts of playing through illness, jeez you guys really love to find new targets to after every night huh.

I do think him being not the most athletic guy could make him age hard on a long term deal, but you guys have to chill with going after your last year all star.
