The reason Dragic didnt go to Dallas is that they didnt promise him minutes and a lead PG 2nd unit role and Chicago did. He just wants to play, it was his call
I'm gonna go on a different route and say that the Mavs' big mistake this season is continuing to bark at the refs, and the biggest one of all is Spence calling out Tony Brothers. It's already having a terrible effect, no one is getting calls on this team and then he got ejected. It could be a bigger problem if the refs all conspire against the Mavs in the playoffs. And even if they do get some calls here and there, the free throw shooting has been absolutely terrible. Like, I can't believe a professional basketball team is this bad at free throws. 26th in the league. I miss the times when Dirk, Finley, Nash, Jet, JJ, were all automatic from the line.
Why didn’t we pickup any of the GSW roster that they didn’t resign? Like GP2 or JTA? Championship experience and would be contributors unlike part of the bench.. also why aren’t we using our 2 way guys or Hardy? Lamb is on a 2 way for GS and getting better every minute he plays. We NEED these guys to develop with Luka and Spence
This is not last 12 months but the biggest mistake the Mavs made is the KP trade.
This is not to hate on KP, but more on what we had to give up. This is why it's so hard for the Mavs to make trades because we have no picks to give up thanks to this trade.
Losing Brunson wouldn't be that much of an issue if only we had the assets to trade for a replacement

Mavs coaching staff don't know how to use C. Wood. They should run more pick and roll with him instead of high post isolation where he'll get stripped down by the opposing player driving to the rim. He looks lost on defense as well. Hopefully they figure it out, there's still time.
I'd absolutely not take bey over green, bey is an extremely inconsistent, inefficient high volume 3 pt chucker and isnt half the defender that green is, not to mention green's far superior passing and vision.
I am fine if they had tried trading a ball-handler this summer if this is true.
