No. 17 Duke beat No. 25 Ohio State at home, 81-72. It was a total team effort from the Blue Devils, who had 5 different players score in double figures. Dereck Lively II scored 11, brought in 5 boards, swatted away two shots, and shot 4-5 from the field. Kyle Filipowski led the Devils scoring with 16 points and 7 rebounds, while Jeremy Roach scored 13 and dished out 5 assists.

Great win, Duke beat a very good quality team in Ohio State tonight. Lively had a solid game and that was just a small taste of what this young man is capable of doing. This team hasn't had its full compliment of players completely healthy all at one time yet this season but they are getting close and when my Duke basketball team gets fully healthy and start putting it together they have a chance to be a very special team. So much talent on this team, I mean Duke is loaded, the talent level doesn't drop from 1 player to the next, it's stud after stud on this team(like usual with my Blue Devils) but I mean this team has more than normal, this team goes deep in the bench with talent. This team is special and I truly believe this team is gonna have an amazing season. Win or Lose I BleeDblue, Let's Go Duke!!!
