Those 3 are considered core pieces of the team, 3/D. The problem is none of them have any offensive game. They are not capable of providing any significant offense that doesn’t involve a catch and shoot 3
Because of that, the Mavs offense becomes predicable, you saw how many double teams and traps Luka faced in overtime.
Now imagine if you replace one of them with a wing who can dribble and create good offense, replace one of those 3 with Jerami Grant for example, Mavs offense would be a lot better

That’s the problem with these guys. They’ll have a good game like 20-25% of the time, just barely enough to give us hope, and then be largely unplayable the remaining games. And that’s not nearly good enough.

He’s a defensive minded guy that often times gets rattled on offense unless there’s a very clear path to the basket.
