[StatMuse] Out of all 30+ point scorers, KD is taking the least shots and also has the highest field goal percentage

Durant continues as being the “quietest” volume scorer in the NBA. His field goal percentage baffles me as almost his shots are contested jumpers, compared to players such as Giannis.

Who else would you all include the in the “quiet” scorers list?

I don’t care. He’s still a liar and whiny bitch. Can’t watch 5 minutes of him playing without constant complaining. 50 greatest, sure. But he’s not on Mount Rushmore.

Individually he’s having an MVP caliber season. But the Nets are mid and the league as a whole is just too good. People talk about Brons crazy longevity but KD, coming back from a career ending injury, is having the 2nd or 3rd best season of his career thus far.

He won’t take last second quarter/half shots. Fraud

Zion and Jokic. They’re only averaging ~23 ppg, but they’re doing it on an oddly low number of shots (15 and 13) + high field goal percentage (~60%)

I swear every Celtics game i watch Jaylen Brown doesn’t miss, looks so efficient and shoots a lot of mid rangers

he should forget the season and just gun for 40ppg. he could do it. like he said, every day he wakes up he knows he could do it, just gotta be a little more selfish and call his own number

That’s what KD has been doing for 15 years, no surprise. He’s a better pure scorer than anyone I’ve ever seen aside from MJ

  8. eFG% is a better stat honestly if you want to look at shooting from the floor as it takes into account the value of 3>2. KD is killing it there too of course among 30+ppg scorers.

Maybe they would win more if they just have him take more shots. Just tell him to be more like Kobe and trust even his bad shot is more likely to go in than some of his teammate’s open shots. Except for Seth.

I remember all the “washed up” comments this summer when trade rumors were flying. The disrespect for KD based on the rumored trade packages was crazy. The Suns fanbase was particularly out of touch thinking they could get KD for bench players.

While I agree with your post and do think KD is doing an amazing job, I think you should also include FTA per game as a part of the analysis since sometimes shot attempts are removed by fouls! KD is averaging 8 free throws per game which is a decent number, but it still is 4th in the top 5 ppg leaders which makes his accomplishment even more special! Curry is the lowest with 5.4 FTA. Oh, and then also include eFG% to accommodate the FT%!

Show Beal some love for averaging a very efficient 23 points.
