We are at the same point as last year. It takes time especially with someone new on the team like Cwood, getting back THJ, Spencer being #2, and reggie shooting like ass. I know it sucks to watch your favorite team lose but it’s growing pains baby. Our teeth popping out them gums. After Christmas mavs will be above .500. Mark my words. 🤣

Last years team was sick, this years team just sucks
The record itself doesn’t concern me. The talent deficit and the lack of fundamentals do.
Talent-wise, first, although Dinwiddie slots in Brunson’s role quite nicely, nobody could take up Dinwiddie’s responsibility from last year. Second, we still lack a reliable rim-protector/rebounder. Third, our 3&D guys have not performed well on the offensive end, to say the least; without reliable perimeter shooting, our offense stagnates.
In terms of fundamentals, the team as a whole needs to work on FT. And besides Luka, and perhaps Dinwiddie and Green, everyone on the team needs to relearn how to pass the ball without turning it over.
And we didn’t win last year
Brother this isn’t growing pains, this is arthritis. This roster is old.

Will see last year I was seething around this time too calling for us stupidly to tank one of the reasons I’m not reacting until January is cause they turned it the fuck around the only thing I am upset with is the Regression of Kidd Coaching or lack of.
Same with the KP trade I was heated so while I hate losing games like this I’ve seen it all before.
