  1. Tanking is not a wise solution moving forward. This team has already multiple alpha type players without knowing how to to utilize them efficiently and solving current issues in the team, adding new alpha player in the team will bring additional issues which will lead team to collapse soon

  2. A good video also could be about potential future coaches for the Rockets that could replace silas.

  3. Have yall guys been seeing Anthony Black lately. This dude reminds me of paolo in a way that hes overly big for his position.. No he's not 6'11 250 but he is 6'7 around 200. So some things that I find similar are these
    Tall for their position
    Nba ready body
    Great handle
    Can playmake
    Can draw fouls
Good at driving and absorbing contact
Defensive is not a liability as one may think.
They tower over the defense and can find open players
    Unselfish 👀

  4. I would love quin Snyder as new coach. He got playoff success experience ,Defensive minded and is fiery. Thoughts on him @Chopshop.

  5. Silas definitely has to go he is a horrible coach he will ruin this young guys careers if he sticks around.

  6. This front office is similar 76ers. The rockets know they are tanking but don’t want the heat Sam Hinkie got. Great content as usual!

  7. Rockets need a tough and strict coach that can decipline these young core.Silas is a very soft and friendly coach thats he spoild hes player

  8. I guess what you’re saying is most of us won’t be alive when The Rockets make the playoffs 😢

  9. I guarantee no one else has done anything resembling this type of detailed breakdown and provided this type of context on rebuilds. This was good

  10. We have some draft picks available to us. Just so happened this year's draft is a good one. This rebuild is far from complete.

  11. hope Silas is gone within this season but Stone remaines untouched. Stone really did a good job past 2 seasons. Got too many almost NBA ready talents, much more than we expected and they turned out pretty good, Jalen, Alpi, Tari, Bari, Garuba, Tyty, Jaygup.

  12. They have agency and their choices impact the team longer than their success or failure. Choices have consequences and I hope ours don't rob our young talent of the opportunity to shine.

  13. Stone has proven his skills as a talent evaluator and has been doing well to establish a strong rep with his peers. Green and Bari look great but it's really the Eason/Sengun moves that insulate him to a degree.
Silas signed on to coach a team with 2 MVPs on it. I think he'd have done well if he'd have gotten that chance, instead he ended up in a situation where no coach would have won games. Having said that- next year is the year they will both be judged mostly on W/L

  14. Stone is probably safe. I think it will be Stone's decision to let Silas go – you make me think that decision will come soon. My next question is what kind of coach do you hire to mold the young team? Stone has done a great job of drafting legit players(IMHO) – the question is do these player fit together as a team? What kind of system would work with this group? We still have one more draft at the bottom(or top depending on perspective) to add a couple of players to the mix. Personally, I would look for high IQ ball handlers that can work with Sengun – but maybe look for that in free agency instead of the draft. An interesting analysis might be how long it takes players to get to an all-star game and what their progression in terms of statistics looked like. Great analysis – as always….

  15. I doubt Silas coaches after this year. The fact that we haven’t messed up one pick yet helps me not worry about the coach as much. Much as we hate Silas I can’t say most of the guys are in the wrong role outside of KPJ. The problem is rotation and offensive creativity.

Lot of those teams drafted guys that play too similar, or looked like role players by their second or third year. Philly and Orlando. I guess it’s really luck as we’ve been terrible through some great drafts and they were bad during drafts people weren’t even hype about at the time. If the “least talented” draft in our rebuild is ‘22 or ‘24 with a GM who isn’t bad at drafting I feel we can make the playoffs with a better coach and more vets .

  16. I gotta say… this isn’t the first time one of your videos auto plays in the background. And every time your amazing analysis makes me pause what I’m doing and go look at the video I’m listening to. It’s always you. Keep up the great work. You have a special mind and talent for this… and the cherry on top is that you’re doing it for our Rockets!

  17. Stone is here to stay he’s actually put this team in a phenomenal position for the future that not many gms I’ve seen done

  18. Good video, I Like your historical perspective. It Makes me feel much better about where the Rockets are now. I don’t see any difference between finishing last or bottom 5 – it’s all tanking. I believe Stone has drafted very well and we are now competitive. I feel we may make the playoffs sooner because Stone managed the cap room to allow us to sign max free agents. I believe we are a point guard & center away.
