Maybe Middleton coming back could hurt the Bucks in his first game or two. Long term, he is obviously great for them. But, he could be rusty. Also, the Bucks have been moving the ball a lot more and doing less 1 on 1 stuff without him.
He might also take some time to adjust to their new defensive philosophy of focusing on stopping 3 pointers instead of on defending the paint.
