Shit, we can’t get past 4 game winning streaks. FML.
All I got from this was Malone would rather play three guards and have zero defense then play zeke Nnaji for even a few minutes
Sometimes you just can’t hit shots. We had won four in a row before so it’s not too bad but there’s really no excuse for the lethargic play by everyone in the first half. On to the next one
Also here is the player rating survey

Not a doomer but that was shit. I honestly don’t think I can take anything positive away from this game.
Other than I wasn’t sober watching it thank god.
You get torched all night from Murray from the same spot, and not even once you try to play Braun on him, even for three possessions just to see if he can slow him down. Tactics masterclass all around.
Thought the Hawks earned that one. They shot lights out on middies and floaters. Murray and Griffin were especially impressive.
this team played like they just played the Rockets twice in a row and it showed
The return of the 3 PG lineup! Maybe MPJ returning will completely force Reed outta the lineup I guess. Can’t count on Malone to do anything right.
The second hand embarrassment I’m feeling. And it only gets much harder from here the next week. Hope this made the fellas angry. Whew, onto the next one..
Letting the hawks shoot 62% in the first half was not the best choice. Crazy part was most of those shots weren’t even tough or lucky. Just open shots for the hawks and they made most of em.
The team never recovered from the meltdown in the third, they got close in the end but ultimately that stretch decided the rest of the game.
3 guard lineup is not it, didn’t work last year, doubt it works this year. You just can’t recover from that height disparity.
You think we’re exaggerating but you’ll see when nuggets are fighting for playoff seeding with the suns clippers GSW grizzlies etc and end up as the 3 seed instead of 2 or 1 seed they’ll look back at these games like this – they better it thru their head that you put out that garbage shit in the 1H like denver did tonight then they deserve to fumble these kinda games where they shoulda won by double digits
I wonder what the scouting report on Murray is? Like do you know where he wants to go to and how he wants to get his shots?
Unpopular opinion:
Murray is better than Murray
We make it up Sunday
This game was lost in that last stretch of the 3rd. We had all momentum, Hawks were running out of energy after playing so fucking hard all game. That 5 on 3 where Bones somehow manages to turn the ball over then Dejounte gets the 3 on the last possession. Game goes from potentially a 3/2 point deficit to suddenly being down 9. Hawks got all the momentum back and from then it was over. Honestly idc Bones ain’t it and I would heavily consider trading him at the deadline.
There is nothing on Earth that I simultaneously love and hate as much as the Nuggets.
They’re just so goddamn fucking annoying. SO ANNOYING. UGH.
Onwards I guess.
The amount of gripes I have with Malone tonight are incalculable. Sorry for my attitude y’all. But some of this shit just seems so damn obvious.
Here’s some copium:
Suns and Utah dominated the regular season for years for no success
Historically, the Nuggets have only ever lost with home court advantage in the Jokic era
The champions are usually the ones that load managed through the season
I would say the Nuggets will rebound but they proved they can’t
I, for one, am shocked that the starting lineup didn’t come out with playoff intensity after Malone teaching such valuable lessons at the end of the Rockets game.
doomers are back
At least Celtics are losing to Miami
Can a non doomer explain the game to me I missed it
you win some you loose some its the nba, the hawks are not as bad as some in here are thinking, its pretty common that guys who dont get much playing time step up when stars are out… not a bad loss. But the takes at halftime have been ridiculous lmao some of yall need to chill…
Well that was a bummer loss, anyway happy Friday have you guys tried the Arnold Palmer spiked from Arizona those were nice
Malone coaches like he isn’t the longest tenured coach without a ring. I’m legit watching the same mistakes I’ve been bitching about for 5 years. Dude needs to get out of his comfort zone and adapt. At this point tho probably never gonna happen
