Let’s have a serious dialogue/discussion about Trae and his role on this team. No gaslighting, no gatekeeping, no talk of being a “fake fan.” Just pure discussion.

I’ll start: I don’t think he’s been a positive so far this season and I don’t like how he fits this roster

  2. Renverseur

Imagine having another all-star taking over when Trae is out????

  3. 1. Swap AJ minutes with Hunter
    2. Dejounte plays better when Trae isn’t on the floor. Honestly debating whether this duo is truly a duo, or just two guards doing their own thing.

  4. thebigsalad_

Hawks 2-0 without Trae this year having beat two of the best teams in the league. Make of that what you will.

  5. sm1tty404

Great win. People gonna automatically assume “do we play better without Trae?” but I think the better question is “are we more dynamic with AJ & JJ in the starting lineup than Dre & JC?” and I believe that’s 100% the case.

  6. myhellcatgotRepod

I might just love AJ Griffin more than I love my bitch. She never scored 24 pts against the 2nd seed in both the Eastern Conference and Western Conference this season.

  7. ahend1999

Nate coached a great game. Not a peep from me tonight.

  8. MaybeMaybeNot88

Murray speaking truth in this post game!

  9. Glad hawks won, got a little close for comfort in the 4th quarter but glad we were able to close it out

  10. 5pliff_Tannen

How can you not love DJM with this interview? ❤️

  11. thenihilisticaxolotl

Dejounte is a fantastic interviewee, you learn something new everyday

  12. ahend1999

Kirschner would be running to that press room fast af to ask about the speculated report of a player and coach argument at shootaround. 😭😭😭

  13. hubbubbery

There are too many different variables for me think that it’s Trae’s absence that made this so different. Is it Trae? Is it Hunter being out? Is it JC being out? Is it cause Bogis back? Is it cause AJ and JJ got significant minutes? Is it cause someone’s actually trying really hard for rebounds? Did Nate do something? I mean I saw him run and wave his arms in the air towards the end. I didn’t know he could do that.
I need to see a lot more before I blame one player. Personally I think a lot has to do with AJ and JJ. Time will tell I guess.
    What an amazing game though.
    LETS GO HAWKS

  14. artninjatheo

Damn DJ so mature in this interview, I wonder why does the cocky shit sometimes in game, he seems like he’s cool af lol

  15. DansbyToGod

    “I’m gonna say it….”

    say it

“I don’t care that Trae broke his elbow”

  16. Important-Store2566

The fact that we won the rebound battle against a very good rebounding team, makes me very happy.

  17. ATLien0106

DJ sound like a leader in the postgame interview. Trae doesn’t give off that vibe.

  18. Oliphaunt-8

Games like this make me wonder why we ever lose…

  19. MaybeMaybeNot88

Nique is talking about Trae yall. And that’s OK.

  20. jabiztownspaceagency

Team basketball wins games Dejounte is not washed and AJ is the next coming of Korver

  21. MrWetPoopz

All eyes on Nate’s post game press conference. Surely someone is going to ask

  22. The Atlanta Hawks are now 2-0 in games I do not watch this season

  23. Boraismybae

Aj griffin is special. Culver can give you what Hunter brings minus the scoring at a fraction of his price.

  24. ahend1999

Dejounte said Bogi was nervous and Bogi confirmed it himself. It’s ok baby, it’ll flow naturally. It tskes time!

  25. Chessh2036

Love Trae (just like we all do) but I really liked how the team looked tonight on offense/defense. 7 Hawks finished in double figures. Murray/Griffin backcourt looked nasty. Need to find a way to get this type of spacing/flow and production with Trae on the court.

  26. SoSoAverage

Is DJ talkin about Trae when he kept talking about guys being in the gym

  27. nikiverse

    DJM post game interview …

“It’s going to be hard for you if you’re representing … whatever team/organization you play for and you don’t trust your teammates. So, with me, I see guys working, I see guys in the gym taking care of their body and everything. You gain my trust with that; you don’t gain my trust with making and missing shots in the games. So it’s good to see everyone step up, and I’m happy for everybody.”

  28. braggpeak

The offensive looked pretty good today with DJ- of course shots falling helped. We know it can look good with Trae as well but not sure what needs to be done to make it more consistent

  29. Best bench performance in a minute man. Vit feels like the bench player that doesn’t play much but you love to see the hustle from

  30. ToyStoryRex97

Been working all night and couldn’t watch a second. Can someone give me a recap?
