The team played great and it was a fun watch if you ignore the long stretches of the game where the refs made it completely unwatchable
Kessler is our traditional center of the future. His instincts are incredible on both ends. He completely controlled the paint in the second half and made the Pacers drives look silly in a way that I’ve only seen Gobert do. We got ourselves a steal.
There’s been a lot of unexpected things to happen this season, but “THT being one of our best players at finding our bigs down low” certainly has to be up there.

Starting Vando on Haliburton was a great move. Got Haliburton a turnover in the first 2 min of the game, which he does not do often
We were active in forcing turnovers in the first, something we haven’t done in a long time
THT minutes too, after a DNP CD last game. And he did some good, but also some classic THT type things
5-9 from 3 in the first quarter YESSIR
MAJOR RUN in the 2nd quarter due to defense which lead to easy buckets. Vando had like back-to-back fastbreak scores all off of team Defense
5 players in double figures in the first half. Unreal.

When Indiana started doing full court press, we struggled a bit. It became chippy, and they forced turnovers off us
Kessler my boy stepped up majorly. I absolutely love this kid. He was eating the offensive boards, and had 20 points too on 7/7 shooting!
Agbaji got minutes, and went 2-2 in garbage time.
Sexton continues to look so good. 18 pts, 8-8 from the FT line with 5 assists

Kessler really just looks special to the eye test. His defensive playmaking is incredible, he will be a force in the future for sure. I am buying stock on Kessler island. Feels good to get this win.
