Coach Nurse needs to know how to prepare the team to start the game. Can't be having these crappy starts. Also the main principle of our defensive scheme of overhelping on players and then running back to shooters to contest shots needs to stop. It's hard to execute it for a full 48 minutes times 82 games since it requires maximum effort and energy along with constant communication. Plus it could look silly if others teams game plan for this scheme and keep the ball moving and they can get easy buckets. I think that's one of the main reasons why the Raptors have started poorly in the 1st half the last 2 games.
Every postgame he says oh we just couldn't setup our defense.. well maybe if you work on a proper offense we wouldn't be giving up so many fast breaks and 3-6 point swings… so trash
