Now let's put things into perspective… With the kind of basketball being played can MJ shot down Curry? The answer is a big 'No!!!' Why?
Because in these era, basketball is not one dimensional and static where players try to power to the rim… the unpredictability when a player holds the ball is huge now is huge, you don't know if he wants to pass, the finnese, the quick post, the athleticism to the rim, player can just pull up right in front of you (which was a bad play back then) etc… the game is more tougher now as compared to then because, players now have more art to the game (instead of power) than it used to be then. You hardly can find where you'd say a defender is locking down a player… it is no longer a bully basketball… and to add to it, the switching is just too much too many which was never the case back then!!! The game is more synthetic these days!!! Now offensive players do jot have to stay to power you to get to the rim, they can just move and shoot from anywhere… the game has gone beyond the stationary basketball been played in those years!!!
This is largely defined to how Steph has changed and moved the game far beyond… and why I still question those that still stick into this narrative of Steph can't defend bla bla bla… the game has moved away from one on one defense to team defense.
And the more reason why I question people who still hold the old school mentality of the game… in addition the reason why they keep holding MJ as the greatest when Steph Curry has taken that leap as the greatest far and beyond!!!

The whole beginning of the season was trying to develop the bench and figure out the rotations. Kerr said f' it and landed on a 9-10 person rotation. We'll see if the role players can be more consistent / develop.
Steph: MVP like season. Looney: reliable Dray: a bit older, but still great passer and above average defender Klay: always been a slow starter. First start of the season since 2018!!! No start of season in '19, '20, '21. Wiggs: doing the same things as in the playoffs, but intensity is a bit lower which is normal
Poole: inconsistent so far Donte: been injured J Green: ok, but not a great pickup Wiseman: GLeague (will not be a factor) Moody: regressed some.
So, that leaves Kuminga as the big X factor
