This game probably has a certain infamy among Wolves fans. Yet I’m not certain how much has the footage of it been around ever since the game happened. Felt like I could post this here.

To recap, Mark Madsen – who had made 1 out of 9 three-pointers in his NBA career before that game – went on a rampage in the last regular season game of 2005-06. His 1-for-15 effort helped the Wolves move past the Celtics in the draft.
Jim Petersen yelling “Let it rain” is the icing on the cake.

I worked DT and would get hooked up with tix from execs and players from time to time. Had tix to 8 games that year, they won 7. Only game they lost was this one, and I had to give the tix away. I guess you could say I helped them tank lol
