I’ll admit based on what I saw preseason I was one of those doubters. He was more aggressive but seemed kinda out of control. Man was I wrong and I’m okay admitting that. He’s found his spot offensively in the corners and gets out in transition and his D and energy has been impressive. Watching him give Jordan Poole all he could handle was amazing. Sometimes that’s all it takes. Take one of the other teams weapons out of the game and could make all the difference. Not giving up on the Mavs but at this point he could be the difference makers come later in the season. Keep giving this man minutes!!!

Being a Green supporter has become so popular that it lost that cultish vibe it had last season. Happy for Green but he can handle it from here, now I need to find a new player to propagandize for.

Has anyone talked about the fact that Green is eligible for an extension after this year?

I am a bit surprised by Green’s breakout. I think he’ll be averaging 10-12ppg easily next season with some more minutes. He might hit 10 this season if he gets the starting role or gets 25-30 min consistently honestly.
Green flashed what he’s doing now even in his limited minutes at the end of his rookie season. The exciting passing/offensive boards/transition speed and finishing. The shot and confidence weren’t there. That’s probably the most important thing as a wing in this league. I truly wasn’t sure he was gonna get it. But he did. Really happy for Josh and I know all us Mavs fans are excited to see him develop even further.

I believed in green all the way until the beginning of this year it took him like 3 fuckin yrs to breakout but late is better than never. Just pissed me off he took so long. Still would of rather the mavs drafted desmond bane.
