The Pacers Have A SUPERSTAR In Tyrese Haliburton

The Indiana Pacers were supposed to be tanking right now; one of a handful of teams who entered the 2022-23 campaign seemingly more invested in the draft lottery than the season itself. But things haven’t gone according to plan in Indiana, as the Pacers have been one of the NBA’s most pleasant surprises through the first quarter of the year.

The biggest reason for that? Tyrese Haliburton is a budding superstar, and he’s already too good for the Pacers to tank.

  1. Massive 2017/18 Vibes with Oladipo surprising the league and killing the pacers tank

  2. Tyrese Haliburton has been on a ROLL the past three games đŸ’Ș Indiana Pacers Chris Paul is the OG ‘Point God,’ but we must crown Tyrese Haliburton ‘Point God 2.0’ or the up-&-coming ‘Point God’!
40 AST & ZERO TOV over his last three games played! đŸ’Ș
    22 years old 👀
He is climbing that MVP ladder
The Pacers doing so well because of him.

  3. rick carlisle always get the most out of his roster. something our dumb fanbase can't see. being a mavs fan is hell sometimes

  4. Still can't believe Haliburton got picked outside of the top 10 in his draft class. Great trade by the Pacers.

  5. Not great game today for Haliburton and Pacers against another supposed to be tanking team Jazz and All Star candidate Markkanen, who got his 10th double double of the season.

Jazz vs Pacers 139 vs 119
Pacers were 11 down already after 1st quarter, 16 down after 1st half, 20 down after 3 quarters. Fourth quarter was basically a battle between bench players and ended up to a tie.

    PTS Markkanen 24, PPG 22.3
    PTS Haliburton 14, PPG 19.1

What makes both Markkanen and Haliburton great are their low USG%, they both are teamplayers with good numbers.

  6. Lmao the term superstar is used WAAAAY too loosely nowadays
dude proven nothing yet beyond being a great playmaker and good 3pt shooter. Let’s give him a label that perhaps 8-12 guys in the ENTIRE league deserve đŸ€ŁđŸ—‘ïž

I love Ty too but my god

  7. Should be on a 4 game losing streak sans the rookie buzzer beater
Wembanyama is the prospect that was promised, and his is the song of blue and gold. Tyrese will average 20 assists with Wembanyama and break Stockton’s record
don’t give away the future dynasty for a firstsecond round exit!

  8. I must be a much better eye for talent than most. Because I knew Bennedict Mathurin was an easy Top 3 pick to the right team. As I knew Murray, Banchero and Ivey were. I said Chet would never be that good in the NBA.. I stand firm on that, I believe he will have decent stretches.. but his body and as far as long term and big success no..

  9. I like Sabonis a lot, but they f'd up trading Haliburton. I do think they needed to trade 1 of the 3 guards, but imo it was Fox. He's a very good player and still only 25, but you see the ceiling with him. Fox would have gotten you a better package back. I might be wrong, but I would think so. Haliburton, Mitchell, an acquired player in Fox trade, and likely high picks in coming yrs would have been my philosophy

  10. kings traded away the future to make a 'win now 'move that might get them a playoff spot…

  11. wanted the Bulls to draft him over PWill. Then I almost cried when the Kings just practically gave him away. He’s going to be a problem he is almost the perfect point guard for this era. Height, length, shooting, defense, playmaking this dude is just different.

  12. Hali is a true Point Gawd. Dude is the best passer in the league statistically @ 10-11apg and he can average 20ppg. He and the Rookie Mathurin are literally carrying this team. Mathurin should be in contention for 6th man of the year and Hali should be in contention for MVP. Also Carlisle should be in contention for Coach of the year, frfr. Also Turner is having a career year but it's obvious it'd bcuz of Hali's greatness at Point but still wanna give Turner his props for stepping up. It would be dope if Turner finally won Defensive Player of the year too.
