Detroit Pistons Give Up 40 Points In Opening Quarter Again In Loss To Ja Morant, Memphis Grizzlies

The Detroit Pistons gave up a 40-point opening quarter for the second time this week, this time to the Memphis Grizzlies in a loss at Little Caesars Arena. The Pistons opening quarter performances have put them behind the 8-ball consistently and it’s a major concern.

  1. Nobody on the Pistons wants to be an alpha male or an MVP or a scoring leader or an All Star or All NBA or play with a chip on their shoulder and when we do have those caliber players the coaching always straddles them down like a horse while players like Mathurin or Jalen Green or Banchero or Morant find motivation to cut their opponents hearts out and hand it to them. The Pistons are a bunch of friendly nerds who will continue to get bent over by every team in the league until players like Cade and Ivey decide to finally realize that they are the franchise players and true development comes from destroying, embarrassing and humiliating their opponents, that's when they'll finally be one heir apparent s to the Bad Boys and Goin to Work Pistons that they so badly want to emulate

  2. Ja Morant showed us its levels to this while people acting like Killian the 4th coming of MJ smfh Ja told us to sit tf down y’all ain’t got it!…Watching how Memphis uses him makes me mad for Ivey, Memphis allows Ja to play downhill and create in the open court he’s not forced to share the ball with another point guard or running some college style dribble handoff offense where everybody’s touching the ball and waiting for a 3…They keep 2 athletic bigs that can catch lobs rebound and finish through contact while having 2 shooters on the court for spacing. The NBA is about letting stars play freely soon as our coaching staff realizes this Ivey will take off but unfortunately he’s boxed into this horrible offense! Notice very rarely did you see Ja sitting on the 3 point line waiting and watching.

  3. I still don't understand why bojan starting over Saddiq 🤦🏾‍♂️🤦🏾‍♂️🤦🏾‍♂️🤦🏾‍♂️. The disrespect towards the young guy of the future maan.
