    Turner looked good. Neimbhart looked quite solid. Buddy was… Buddy. He hit his shots this time but was still useless on D. A C- game from Mathurin. Jackson is still a jumpy fool with a basketball IQ of an eggplant.
    Johnson getting minutes over Goga is deeply depressing.

    You see the issue is we’re on a west coast road trip and we always suck at those. We always lose in one in LA, and we always lose in Portland and Utah is pretty meh for us

    Haliburton & McConnell both missing the same game wasn't a recipe for success. I think Neimbhart may have a future as a pg but not really ready yet.
    I worry about a loss of confidence. But this should be a wake up call to those who think this current roster could go deep into playoffs. Team still lacking a few pieces in order to be contender
    Tony, as a long suffering Pirates fan, they were good in 1970's. SS was a weak spot, Mario Mendoza was a good fielder but . . .

    Mathurin was looking so unbelievable especially for a just turned 20 year old rookie and Carlisle Is so damn hell bent on changing Him and getting him to play his way or the 'right' way. Is that what He would have done if He coached Michael Jordan as a rookie? When you have a thoroughbred Maverick like Mathurin you don't try to alter him or change Him, you surround him with role players and let him go off at timed during the game when it's needed. Kid could have legitimately scored 50 against Denver that night but Carlisle only played him 25 minutes and sat him like the first 8 minutes of the 3rd quarter. There were times during that game He should have just let him go off. Now its almost like he's out there not sure what to do. If Carlisle messes this kid up that is a firebal offense. You don't alter and change the Michael Jordan's of the world. You surround him with role players. He has A thoroughbred maverick and Carlisle is trying to turn him into A Mule and play the 'right' way. All I know was in the beginning of the season every time mathurin would go in the other teams lead would shrink. I do not like what I'm seeing with Carlisle and Mathurin. Don't change A damn thing Carlisle. Ben Mathurins don't Come along that often and Carlisle is blowing it right now.
