I know he still brings the money to the Laker owner due to his name but we need to trade Lebron after this season if we want rapid success. The Lakers held on to Kobe for the same reason and set us back for many years. We need a younger 2nd option who can lead the team when the 1st option is out, and willing to sacrifice for the team, not chasing personal accolades.
The Lakers' front office knew this problem. No one cares if they purchased some 3D wings. That is the laker's choice. So to me, as a long-time Lakers fan, they choose to lose!!! Those guys are too small.
The Lakers are cheap! Pay people and stop overpaying people like Russ (47 million). That is too much money for a 6th man!!!!

Bev and Nunn must go. Nunn maybe has a chance to improve drastically in 2nd half of the season but we just don't have time to entertain that. Let's get on solid 3 and D wing who's min 6'7 who can shoot and guard.

The Patrick Beverly trade was just another example of Rob Pelinka’s genius in trading away young promising players for older washed up players that no one else wants.

The Lakers selected Shroeder and Beverly, over 2 time champion Rajon Rondo, when Rajon Rondo earned the job in 2020. Rajon Rondo should be the current and last year starting pg. But, to appease Russ Westbrick ego, they sent Rondo to Cavs.
Now, the Lakers figured out Russ Westbrick is a 6th man and should have been last year coming off the bench for Rajon Rondo, so again they double down their mistakes and are starting Shroeder and Beverly; while the Lakers contributed to Rajon Rondo being out the League.
Beverly, Shroeder, Nunn should be gone. That's about 20M of salary and minutes that can be filled by Rajon Rondo who is better than all 3 of them.. lol. What a joke.
Get rid of all that pg dead weight and sign Rajon Rondo for the second half of season and playoffs if Rondo is currently in shape and should be healthy. Get Melo back as well.
