Based on these stats, Nix is the clear top PG of the team and hence should start.
Great observation definitely need to get Eric to a contender.
I know people don’t like nix but why don’t we try this out. Why don’t we start nix and play kpj as a 3. Have nix play with green, smith, and según just to see how the offense runs. Pull kpj early and have him run the 2nd unit with Bruno and the goon squad. I know people don’t like nix but he might be able to run the offense better than kpj. Nix is more likely to give the ball to green and según. And kpj still can play his pg minutes with the bench
Hello Scoot Henderson,Lol
Speaking of Jalen off screens, have you noticed how many times Sengun will set a pin down screen for Jalen, signal to KPJ to pass, and KPJ ignores it?
I agree with everything you said! Unfortunately my brother it probably won’t happen until there’s a coaching change, and a true point guard with high Basketball IQ capable of setting his teammates up where they can be most effective on the court.🙏🏾
I came away from this thinking KJ is the only player nobody gripes about – in his case they push it onto EG needing to be traded. Statistically KJ is sound in every part of the game but not spectacular. Tari often beats him in the stat line but I think KJ is the better team player. Is KJ the most complete player we have? I'm not sure I know exactly what I'm trying to get at but the thought just pushed its way into my mind while listening here and I couldn't get rid of it.
I like the fact that the Rockets seem to have changed from spamming threes during the Harden era to more driving and some mid range and horns plays.
I think they just need to add more off ball screening and motion.
And it would be interesting to see Jalen and KPJ swap roles and positions
Stop playing nix. And let the coach go.
I hear a lot of people doubting Silas because he has the players doing things they're not all that great at. But don't we want them to be good at those things? And the more they do it now the better they will be in their prime. And it just so happens this is a pretty convenient year to not care about wins. So why not spend it working on weaknesses? Or at least a good portion of the season.
I saw a podcast claiming Rockets have a lot of broken plays. I would like to hear your take on that. I'm trying to hang in there as a fan, but this brand of basketball is practically unwatchable. Next year the Rockets are projected to be contenders for the play in by Stone. Next year if going to be exactly the same.
Also I want to say drafting a rookie point guard is not going to help us much, just prolong the fan suffering. We need experienced players. I don't care about getting Scoot Henderson. And TyTy is never going to be a NBA starter on a winning team.
