They got an ugly win, there were breakdown’s, but they fought through it. It’s crazy, but Domas went nuclear ☢️
The thing about defense is there's 3 parts to it. Part 1 is to deny the shot. Part 2 is to alter the shot. Part 3 is to block the shot. Part 3 only needs to happen when Part 1 and Part 2 fail. Shot blocking is not because of good defense. It's last ditch defense.
So Sabonis and the team are doing parts 1 and 2 so very well and need to be recognized for that.
Oh and when Sabonis got the chain and the team chanted light the beam. I had chills and tears of joy.
I saw Cavs TV talk about how to beat Sabonis is to beat his arms so he misses free throws.
