Zion needs to understand that last season we played BASKETBALL and when we beat them it wasn't personal. They respect and love Willie Green too! He's in the locker room making out like his team got robbed and were done dirty. He should have said "We weren't good enough last year, the Suns were doing well leading the league, now we back again stronger". He also needs to know that he was showboating the whole game not just at the end, shouting directly to players after a play but was never Tee'd up, and THAT makes the fans think it's okay to spit in the other team's face. That's not the culture we wanna start. That crap belongs in LA.
Willie Green can't do much but we have to assume he let the players know that that extra bit just crossed the line and we can't do it. Otherwise go ahead be competitive.
Suns Geek you need to account for Jose Alvarado who started mouthing off at CP3 first. If we windmill dunked last year in the playoffs the Pels would have been punching the whole game. Zion needs a reality check if he thinks he wouldn't care. He's making his actions okay by allowing others to do it back to him. When he shouldn't be doing it at all. Be competitive in other ways and improve the culture around the game. Adult answer take note pels and pel fans..
I saw Kevin Young doing that live and couldn't be more proud. He needed to stand up for the team and tell them it's not cool and Willie to get a handle on his team. KY for MVC.
LASTLY: The media needs to understand that the Dunk also made the deficit higher because it was in game. It also improved Zion's PPG and stats- which impact MVP voting etc etc. Every other team dribbles the ball out, and if Zion wanted a highlight reel he should have done that earlier in actual play. The media cares not about the other team and that's unprofessional. "Keeping it clean" is being a sportsman not laughing in the other teams face, and especially when the player that did it said he knew it wasn't okay. When you are up by 20 you don't go dunk the ball in the final seconds when the team stopped play like every team does in the NBA..

I think the Suns and Pelicans are both class organizations that share one common POS. CP3 has been a punk ass bitch that can dish it out but can't take it since even before his college days; despite easily being one of the best PG's ever. He's always been the type to deliver cheap shots and try to act innocent. And I genuinely wish Julius Hodge was on the Pelicans roster just for last night so he could rack Chris Paul in the testicles like Chis did to him in college. If that dunk were not against your favorite team (regardless of team) you'd think it was awesome as hell. The NBA is an entertainment industry and THAT shit was entertaining.

the suns were always my favorite team growing up and until new orleans got the hornets. i had season tickets 3 times for the hornets. saw monty and willie green play. i moved to phoenix a few years back, and its just super cool to see both the pelicans and suns atop the west. im going to the game on the 17th. its gonna be a good one.
