Not surprising. I mean how often do we a play where they kick it out to fucking Khem Birch for a corner 3? Not saying this is the sole reason, but it’s clear this team has no offensive system in place to take advantage of the personnel. It’s all just “figure it out yourselves”, and clearly… Our players can’t figure it out.

The team can’t shoot period. This has been a brutal season for watching Raptors basketball. I don’t think it’s an overreaction to consider blowing up the team while they still have tradable assets. People can defend the team all they want, ultimately this team can’t shoot and can’t rebound. Not being able to rebound kills their transition based offense. This team is terrible in traditional half court.

Why everyone got much better 3s when they left raptors? Yuta is a recent good sample! Our half court offence is terrible, even Porter whose 3 pert is 39% in entire career got much worse number with us! Must do something with coaching team!!

I still wonder what this team would be like with Maxey from a Lowry trade (people can deny it all they want but the reports were mixed so it was very possible especially since Maxey’s value back then was no where near what it is now) and if Banes was chosen of Flynn.
But hindsight is 20/20. I did desperately want them to trade Lowry to Philly though but Masai didn’t want to seem like a pushover.

This is really the whole story. Everything else is just stuff in the margins. This is the NBA. If one team shoots dramatically better from three, that team usually wins the game.

This is simply unacceptable. For the past 2 seasons we have been a pretty poor half-court and three point shooting team changes need to be made to the roster.

This is probably more a function of putting bad shooters around the arc for fake spacing rather than using our huge fucking guys to their strengths.
Who could have guessed that spotting up guys liks Boucher, Scottie, Thad, and Birch would lead to bad 3 point shooting. But that’s the system they’re using.
Also, Nurse plays **3 guys** 40 minutes and doesn’t give Malachi a single minute. One of our only actual 3 point shooters. Never saw the floor. It’s just ridiculous.
