Lol my guy had a good game. Get off his dick

  2. blacPanther55

Yeah I like what he brings playmaking wise, he’s seems like the best at getting AD touches but you can not have 47 million on the bench in the 4th every night.

  3. ThisAnswerIsLit

He had a good game but he was where he was supposed to be during crunch time

  4. Can’t tell if that’s a description on the chair or a brand. Is the chair firm or not. I got questions.

  5. KlutchSucks_WBGOAT

he just had a triple double and kept the Lakers alive last week

  6. Bigbully_69

Til he stops playing like a trash ass bum (so likley never)

  7. Fancy-Cream-3972

He brings some good energy and playmaking , but man those dumb shots and crucial turnovers are too much.

  8. Bahamut727

If Russ was making 15m we’d love him. But Russ Stan’s need to understand he’s not worth it at this cost. Can’t close games or play in the playoffs either

  9. ParisLake2

Stop this. He’s playing well since he’s been on the bench. He could be the 6th man of the year if the season keeps going like this.

What trade can the lakers realistically even make that would make this team more than marginally better though?

47 million is coming of the books after this year anyways

He played fine in the first half, did dumb shit as usual when the game got tight. Thats his role now in the league, roast the bench lineups and be a super sub but shouldn’t be in closing lineups(also due to inability to play off-ball)

He would be great for us in the role too if he was being paid 10 million instead of 47.

  12. General-2K-Browser

The most pathetic post, after a win at that.

  13. Until the end of the year.

There is a reason people are willing to take on the worst contract in the NBA and it’s not because of their love for the Lakers.

Pelinka ruined couple of years when he traded two decent championship rotation players for the worst contract in the NBA. Forcing a trade that won’t make us contenders will just hold cap space for even longer for no reason.

And the saddest thing is, everyone knew it was a shit contract.

I don’t see a trade making us contenders unless it is a killer trade. Not someone like Bojan, but like an absolutely robbery. Like someone even Ham can’t mess up. Someone that would make this horribly built squad into gold.

Highly unlikely to happen, sometimes the best thing to do is be patient even though it kills you because of the two AMAZING players on your team.

He didn’t play in the 4th because upon review of the last game, in OT, he kept shooting and falling for the trap of the opposing team to give him space and shoot. It’s a dilemma, he wanted to pass it to Davis or Bron, but when those guys are locked what does he do? Shoot or drive the ball, drive the ball to where, that’s when sometimes he ends up nowhere but turnover. If he shows he can hit his shot on that day, he bails out the team against the opposing teams strategy, so either that or you sit him in the bench in the crucial moments, today, Ham chose the latter.

Totally agree. It’s the contract and not the player. This dude on a minimum would certainly help any contending team.

I guarantee you lotsa contending teams would be fighting to sign this dude on a minimum contract once he does get traded and bought out by a non contender

  16. Dismal_Committee_696

If they can get a hornets package put together I say go for it. Lamelo ain’t coming back for awhile

  17. Malimanz

Russ is nice when the game is up tempo in the first half. But when the game slows down in the 4th teams leave him open and his lack of basketball iq gets exposed. Can’t trust him late in a close game sadly

  18. Bahamut727

Right now I’d trade him for Oubre/Rozier/Washington

    Or randle/Fournier/reddish

    Or Bamba/Harris/TRoss

As long as these packages didn’t cost us both picks

  19. chemguy112

russ is a closer, but in clutch situations. lebron’s technique is to be up that way there is no need to close, but when it’s a tight game or whatever Russ is actually a great closer.

But at this point in his career he lost some athleticism. it was prolly wise for him to sit the 4th and get rest since there’s a big game coming up vs. boston where he’ll be needed.

  20. Are you demanding the same when LBJ sits on the bench?

  21. Ill_Celery_7654

Who else wants him? Not 1 team has expressed interest.

  22. davensdad

I was iffy on trading him for Turner and Hield. On hindsight that’s a mistake. We would have been a contender if we made that deal.

    Turner/Bryant

    AD/Gabriel

    Bron/Troy/JTA

    Walker/Hield

    Dennis/Austin/Bev

  23. henryofclay

And in the Bucks game he played and was integral to the win. Shut the fuck up honestly, so sick of these stupid posts, especially after WINS.

The man’s passing is a big reason we weathered the storm of their shooting anyway. Y’all children always have something to complain about.

  24. Competitive-Camp7298

I’m tired of this man taking one dribble pull ups with 17 seconds left on the clock. In this game I watched him try to force a horrible pass which the Pistons picked off EASY, then on the next possession he turned the ball over. Back to back. His positives don’t outweigh the liabilities down the stretch. His ego takes over time and time again.

  25. Fuck y’all I love Russ and I’m sick and tired of pretending I don’t.
