QUOTES/NOTES/TOPICS:

ON HOW HE FEELS PLAYING AT CHASE CENTER:

“It definitely left a bad taste in my mouth for sure playing in The Finals. But the Bay Area is like a second home to me. I got a lot of friends and family I went to school with over in Berkeley. So being in a place that has embraced me, that I’ve been able to learn and grow it can never be too bad right. But definitely not winning here definitely leaves a bad taste in your mouth.”

ON IF THEY WANTED THIS WIN TOO BADLY:

“Obviously you know I think that’s the right twist of words I think that we definitely played a little tense tonight and we definitely got some stuff that we got to continue to work on for sure. But last year is over obviously we got to learn and grow, which we have, and we played this game like we had it circled almost in a sense for a long time instead of just playing our game. Just coming out and playing the way we’ve been playing, moving the ball, making shots, we

were a little tense, and it kind of showed. It’s just one game, it only counts as one so we’ll get back to it, get back to playing the way we’ve been playing and having some fun with the game.”

ON THE FEELING AFTER THE GAME:

“We haven’t lost too many games so obviously it wasn’t a great feeling and on top of that it’s not a great feeling losing here in this building. So all of us feel like we took it a little—we’re taking it a little harder than we probably should. But we bounce back and get ready for the next one, can’t let one game determine the outcome of the rest of the season. So we lost tonight we got to be better, we see where we got to be better, and you approach the game with humility and respect. It’s a good team over there, obviously they can play with the best of them any given night, and they played really well tonight and we didn’t.”

NOTE: From Golden State Warriors postgame after win vs Boston Celtics at Chase Center in San Francisco, CA. We will go live for the GSW-MIL game on Tue 12/13 at 4:00PM PST, which tips off at 4:30PM.

  2. This is the first time I've heard Jaylen interviewed. He is an impressive young man. I've always liked his game. I saw him once with UC Berkeley and it was clear he was going to be a pro. Doubtless he was a Warriors fan during that year…

  3. When you are an arrogant team that hasn’t won anything well this is the result.

  4. First of all, Tatum is not better than you. Unfortunately, you faced the Warriors. Better luck next time.

  5. I have respect for Jalen, he said the warriors played better tonight! Jalen and Jason, have been a force to be reckoned with all season so far! The warriors just played better tonight!

  6. Jaylen is a well spoken classy intelligent gentleman !
    Incredible athlete 🏀🎷

  7. Jaylen Brown is the best player on the Celtics. It's frustrating watching him get no help from his teammates. Jason Tatum is petrified playing against the Warriors. He looks flat and confused again the warriors….

  8. Beside the Warriors , Boston is one of the Great Team who could get the Championship this year. Good luck to the Celtics, one of my favorite team in the NBA.

  9. You have to like him eventho I am a warrior fan 100%, great player who plays the right way, unselfish! He is also well spoken, no sugar quoting anything, gave credits to the winner when due.

He might dethrone Tatum soon as the Celtic best player 🤷🏿‍♂️

  10. The Warriors defense was pretty much in sync while Tatum seemed very much reluctant. This game seemed like a mind a game in Tatum's head.
