This is an ELITE play by Wise here, and his ability to basically contest and protect the rim at multiple points in one possession is something that can make him a legit rim protector.
Look how quick he flipped his hips there, it’s ridiculous for someone his size lmao. And then he didn’t take 20 years to load up like he normally does, jus jumps straight up as quick as he can and lets his length do a lot of the work. He’s improving in these small areas that he’s struggled in rapidly each game.

Before this g league stint that dunk is finishing and he’s a step slow. Now he’s aware of the man he left to help and is reacting and getting up once the pass goes. Feel is born from repetition and pattern recognition.
