I wish Deni could teach his teammates the patience you need to play good perimeter defense. Iāve said it before but its not hard to not go for the first move. Or the second. Its harder to not go for the third and almost a herculean task to not go for the fourth, fifth and sixth move. Deniās size helps but heās also just really patient.
Deniās challenge now is to make good on the offensive end so he doesnt limit himself to Roberson status. The team actually needs his scoring, and making your defender expend energy is often your best defense. Ask the Wizards free throw percentage.
Will Barton is one of the worst defenders according to this and also has the worst FG% in the league lmao
