  1. If Dame had hit that disgustingly deep three I think he breaks the record. He’ll have another chance at it, I believe in him. Now we gotta buckle up for this 6 game road trip.

I guess Dame will just have to break the record against the Spurs instead.

That was a Warriors 3rd quarter type of run we made

That man Dame was gonna break that record today, but tonight, huge team win. That 3rd quarter was on point

We as a collective better pay for the inevitable carpal tunnel surgery u/Kazekid is gonna need my man is working in overdrive tonight

  6. Come onnnnnn Chauncey!!!! Dame needed the record. Couldve subbed him in for like 3 mins and tell him to just shoot

As someone who cares so much about each game it’s nice to see them meet at center court even after a blow out.

Star Wars night. A new Hoop. The Blazers Strike Back. Return of the Dead-eye. The 3-Point Menace. Attack to the domes. Revenge of the lift?

Being a Timberwolves fan is a special kind of hell. Connelly is a crook.

At least they “went for it” lmao

Besides Dame going supernova I thought this was a great game by Chauncey.

Specifically, they were dropping back Nurk a lot more today (he had a couple switches against D’Lo but way less than on Saturday), and forcing tough midrange looks that took the Wolves offense out of rhythm.

Also the PnR coverage was cleaned up much better today and there weren’t nearly as many blown coverages.

I also liked that we saw a lot more Hart and Winslow on ball defensively – they’re much better at fighting thru screens than Grant who’s more of a better ISO defender but kinda sucks at fighting through screens.

I also thought that the timeout he called when minnesota cut the lead to 10 in the third quarter was great – the team came out of the timeout and responded right away and we didn’t look back.

Offensively I really liked how the Blazers used the threat of Ant shooting off the dribble to get Dame easy catch and shoot looks during the first half. Ant torched the wolves in drop coverage on Saturday so it was clearly a priority to have the big (usually Gobert) play up on the screen and roll and not let Ant walk into open threes. Because of this the low man on the weakside has to help on the roller and leaves a 3-on-2 once Ant gets rid of the ball. Putting Dame as a spotup shooter on the weakside while Ant leverages his scoring threat is a pretty good move by Billups and illustrates how this offense can look really good when both of them learn how to play together (also that CJ, despite how good he is, isn’t going to command that same respect coming off screens so this is something completely new to Dame, having someone generate him easy looks off ball without having to work).

  11. the one time we dont choke🥲🥲 crazy 3rd quarter offense and defense tho

  12. I am confused, we had a double digit lead…. And kept it? Wtf

So much good came out of that game, dames 11 threes, Shaedon sharpe starting to get some points again and our defense was absolutely amazing
