[Scotto] Several playoff caliber teams interested in Pistons Bojan Bogdanovic, including the Atlanta Hawks.

> After agreeing to a two-year, $39 million extension with Detroit, Pistons forward Bojan Bogdanovic is playing the best basketball of his career, averaging career-highs in points (21.0), field goal percentage (.508) and three-point percentage (.437). Bogdanovic’s veteran leadership and scoring have made him a favorite of Pistons head coach Dwane Casey.

>Bogdanovic’s strong play has led numerous playoff-caliber teams around the league to express interest in trading for him, including the Los Angeles Lakers, Miami Heat, Dallas Mavericks, and Atlanta Hawks, among several others, league sources told HoopsHype. Thus far, Detroit has been unwilling to engage in trade talks for the 33-year-old forward. Rival executives, however, are hopeful that stance changes closer to the deadline if Detroit continues to remain in the cellar of the East, with Cade Cunningham expected to miss the rest of the season.

Let’s confuse people into thinking there are two sets of siblings on the team.

I’m all for it. Let’s monopolize the B. Bogdanovic market.

I’m against this. Clearly we have enough confusion on the court from all the holidays, how are we supposed to figure out two bogdonovics? Just gunna be way more turnovers

I’d love to bring in not only because he’s been playing great but having two Bogdanovics and two Holidays would be pretty funny lol. Not sure it’s really a possibility that we get him though. I’m assuming if Detroit were to move him it’d be for draft assets and/or young players. After the Murray trade the cupboard is kinda bare for us in those terms unless they were willing to accept the pick we got from Sacramento. The other issue with getting this deal done is salary matching. I’m not sure what package of players we could use to get us to the $18.5 salary that Bojan makes. Culver and J Holiday would get us to $12 but I’m not sure that’s close enough for the trade to go through. And even if it was I doubt Ressler would be on board with it considering it would put us over the tax. I’m no expert on NBA trade and luxury tax rules but from my very rudimentary understanding of them and how the team operated to shed salary during the off-season I just can’t see this happening even though I think it’d be a solid move

  5. We’re trying to collect B. Bogdanovic’s like infinity stones and like it
