Not only Bojan didn't worth so much assets, his salary is also a problem. 19 million can give us 2-3 solid 3d rotation players but if we trade for Bojan, that's it! We can't make any other meaningful trades unless we trade Russ because we don't have enough contract to match the salary.
With Bev+ Nunn, you can get Bey + Burks+ 5 million trade exception, and they won't ask you for an unprotected first round pick, it's clearly better than the Bojan deal.

An unprotected first for a one way role player is just a bad deal, period. They need to stay afloat until the trade deadline when teams will be more reasonable.
The Lakers front office didn't learn any lesson from the Westbrook trade, they are still always going for the big names, players that 'seems to solve one of their problem' but actually creates new, bigger problems.
Defensively Bojan is a poor fit with the current Lakers team, he has all the defence problems LeBron is having, only LeBron is much better physically and defensively than him. This team relies on transition offence more than anything, more than shootings, if you can't defend, you are not able to make those easy fast break scores any more.
And they go all in for Bojan? Come on there are so many better options.
With Beverly+first round pick+ some guy to match the salary, you can potentially get Kuzma, Turner, Oubre , Bamba+T Ross, Burks+ Bey. And with 3 team deal you can get multiple of them above! And Lakers put Bojan as No. 1 choice, terrible

If they give up Beverly and include him in the package to get Bojan, then we are giving up a great perimeter defender just like how the Lakers gave up Caruso and Danny Green and didn't realize the value they provide for this team. If only Bojan can play defense can guard 1 through 5 because of his size, then we can all agree to trade Beverly to get Bojan. For me, please do not trade Beverly because his the locker room guy, he held Bron and AD accountable. And he establishes defense and teach young guys to play elite defense. The Lakers should get players that has offense but at the same time can play defense.
