The problem is they were hyped to be a guaranteed top 3 team in the conference between acquisitions, Harden getting in shape, Embiid not being concerned about the MVP, Maxey development, etc. Despite all this, the team is at exactly the same record as last year. And this is when they were without Simmons, and Embiid was sick for a few games early on. Sure there are some problems with injuries, but this is just another excuse to pardon Glenn’s performance. Sure, things didn’t always turn his way such as his three 3-1 leads, but a truly great coach can find a way to win at least *one* of those despite that.
