Cam Reddish when playing over 20 MPG this year is averaging 13 points on 50/41/92 splits (3.6 attempts from 3) in 9 games

I’m not saying Cam Reddish saves this team or makes us a contender. But when the asking price is just a 2nd rounder for a young player at a position we desperately need.

I don’t know the next time an opportunity like this could happen. Especially since the Lakers don’t look to care for a trade anytime soon.

It literally doesn’t matter who the Lakers pick up before trade deadline because come playing time these guys will devolve into g leaguers and your average gym baller. It’s the Lakers/LeBron curse.

A good parallel is Lonnie Walker. We talked about him exactly how we’re talking about cam right now. Inconsistent , has the tools but doesn’t use them right , now add Lonnie to a situation with consistent minutes , leadership and a coach that rides with him and now we love the guy. Cam is in a terrible situation. I went to the knicks thread to see what they say about him and it’s obvious that thibs does not want him and never did. Dude has potential . It’s a worthy risk for some 2nd round picks and nunns ghost

So the Knicks are trying to tie. Evan Fournier to any deal with Cam reddish. But if pelinka can’t pull this off then he needs to be shown the door. Fournier becomes an expiring contract this summer which can be used in a sign in trade with some team trying to trade their unhappy star and this summer we would have three first round picks and this contract for salary matching. It’s not like he’s useless. He’d be a very good player coming off the bench in the right situation.

#CAM GOT FAST ACCURATE HANDS ON DEFENSE. DISRUPTS PASSING LANES. LOOKS TO RUN ON TRANSITION PLAYS. CAN SHOOT 3S. IS YOUNG ENOUGH TO RUN AGAINST YOUNG STAR PLAYERS. IF THEY INCLUDE FOURNIER WE NEED A FRP WITH COMING TO LA

The only person reporting this is Ian Bagley, who basically works for the agents of the Knicks. Cam wants a new environment and so the narrative is being made.
