Really liked the effort we played with after getting beat down last game. Severely undermanned and battled a really good Clippers team all night.

Shooting is just killing us night in and night out though. It’s unfathomable that everyone on our team is basically shooting career lows from 3. 4 made 3s in an NBA game is beyond pathetic. Hopefully some point soon it starts to swing back in our direction.

  2. Therealrickyrubio

Such a meh game. We need to find a way to shoot more 3s. I know we’ve got a lot of guys out rn but when a team is shooting as bad as they did today we have to give ourselves more of a chance. Feels like we should’ve had at least one or two of the last three.

  3. I’ve seen raw turkies less anemic than this offense.

  4. dosnetlive

This game looks a lot different if the wolves aren’t majorly handicapped but that doesn’t make it hurt any less

  5. poopoopatchuw

Safe to say Rudy is the most toxic player in franchise history?

  6. StealthySnipe2

The Gobert trade made send us to Seattle. Fuck Tim Connelly. Fuck Mark Lore

  7. Andy_Wiggins

Tim Connelly should donate 8 million dollars of this yearā€™s salary to charity.

The fact that heā€™s getting paid nearly 8 figures for this fucking garbage feels criminal.

  8. DoYouEvenDoubleLeg

    Rudy needed more touches.

Besides that, good hustle and effort. Done well competing considering our injury list.

  9. HackWaters

I can’t name not one highlight play from our side this game. The Ant and1?

  10. cowboyslims

Hot Take: Grady kinda sucks lately. Not funny. Forced laughs. Grasping for straws. Kinda lame

  11. we need to dismantle the institution that is sports. it’s a meaningless affair robbing society of its valuable time and resources

(this Wolves season has really done a number on me lol)

  12. First it was KAT’s the problem

    Then it was DLO

    Now its Finch

We look for a scapegoat but it’s always the team as a whole.

This is how it always goes when a season is in flames.

We took last season for granted, the one pure and good thing we had in years.

  13. BoardMan6

I only watched the 4th quarter and I was perpetually cringing

  14. captainduck2

I like Gobert I really do but we could have Walker Kessler and 4 firsts.

  15. MC_Ball_Peen_Hammer

I’ve got nothing nice to say, so that’s all. Goodnight, fellow sufferers of psychosis.

  16. djrty_puppy

Remember the preseason when Bryn Forbes couldnā€™t miss from 3? Good times.

  17. dynastylicious

We didnā€™t have D-Lo, KAT, Lil Mac and Prince against a mostly healthy Clippers team. Iā€™d say this was the expected outcome.

  18. Gyroflex

someone on this team please learn to fucking shoot. Also, i dont care if rudy has stone hands, id rather him drop the pass inside and get 10 turnovers than just iso and jack up a horrible ass shot or brick another 3

  19. cowboy2223

Itā€™s a wonder the score even this close . Look at the stats we got beat at almost every category.

  20. Minnesota_Wisconsin

God these games really make me wonder what these guys do in practice. Just bizarre that, 30 games in, no one can even pass it in to Rudy when Ant is getting doubled. 5 FGs for him. Thatā€™s the amount Knight/Minott/Garza shot in about 2 mins.

There does not appear to be any scheme, lineup, or matchup in which the Wolves wonā€™t surrender 15+ points on wide open 3s.

  21. Vikings2016

I miss Pat Bev. I miss Vando. I miss Beasley. I miss Okogie. I miss players with heart. Itā€™s so hard to love this team the way I did.

  22. ChbbyKttns

Every time we lost to an injured team early in the year yall told me injuries donā€™t matter in the NBA. No excuse for dropping this one if thatā€™s the case

  23. placated

I really donā€™t see the path to a better season here. Somebody help me out. Donā€™t tell me injuries we losing to teams by 20 even with Dlo and KAT

  24. Every trade we make from here on out needs to bring in the hardest, most gritty players ever. Scrounge every prison, warzone, back alley and just bring it straight up hustling, physical, irritants who play tough defense and scrap for everything. We need that energy injected into our veins.

  25. 1000Isand1

I didnā€™t watch the game tonight. Team is too depressing right now.

  26. sayqueensbridge

feel like shit just want her* back

    *patrick beverley

  27. BregmanRoeFan

So we have an allstar big that struggles against small ball lineups and we pair him withā€¦ another big man that struggles vs small ball lineups. What could go wrong?

  28. VikingsandWolves

Shocking how when you get rid of you’re energy guys/grit you’re left with the softest most apathetic team in the league. I wake up more excited to take my morning shit than some of these dudes do to play basketball and make millions.

Get Bev in here right now, need someone to throw some chairs and spark a fire under these guys or we are fkn done and we are giving Utah a lottery pick.

  29. st333v333

On a positive note. We finally broke that letting opponents score over 100 streakā€¦no one mentioned it but Iā€™m pretty sure this was the first under 100 game for us

  30. freebee007

We tricked ourselves into thinking that rim protection and rebounding was the issue from last year’s play-off against grizzlies. Then made the move to acquire Rudy and gave up everything. Main issue was these empty bouts of possessions. We just brick every single shot sometimes.

Rudy is great but he can’t keep defending every possession. We need to make shots on the other end.

We should’ve done something about our offense rather than defense(I think we already were in top 15 in defense).

  31. theroguesoybean

That was a decent defensive effort but wow what a clunker offensively. What adjustments can they make to maybe crack 90 against OKC? It was a loss but against a much better team so I guess I’m less upset about it than getting beat by Portland twice.

  32. Noah3mezzan

Tim Connelly set this franchise back a decade. Goodnight

  33. Lol this stretch has made me appreciate Kat so much more, I donā€™t remember a game looking that bad offensively within the past 7 years.

God I miss last years roster.

  34. this franchise is a disasterclass lmao. Fuck y’all front office who traded Walker Kessler dan Vando.

  35. Able-Bodied-Virgin

One positive: I said ā€œexcellentā€ under my breath like six times tonight when Wendell Moore did something. He feels like a safety net already.

  36. vMambaaa

thinking back to when dane had a pre-season pod saying this was the most talented team the wolves have ever put out

  37. cowboy2223

Nowell with 5 turnovers on lots of pretty bad passes ant right behind him with 4 turnovers. Naz posting up out at the 3 point line!! Austin rivers clanking shot after shot itā€™s a wonder he was left open. We only took 22 3 pointers and you would think the were quality shots and we made a good percentage yet we made only 4.
I would say maybe 11 were wide open and 11 were contested 3s. .

  38. So I rarely get to watch the games so I have a question: why is our 3pt attempts so low compared to the opposing team? Is it really just the game plan? Are they just not taking outside shots?

  39. Lobi-Wan

How many times does the ball need to go right back to the shooter for an offensive rebound before you realize you need to fucking box him out? It’s one of the first things you learn in basketball, yet this super talented professional basketball team hasn’t caught onto it yet. That shits embarrassing
