lakers now badly needed trade. move now. trade nunn, damian and anderson. lakers must get bojan, for 3s and d in the wing. then Reddish. and kuzma . the line up is davis,kuzma,lebron walker and dennis or pat. off the bench wes, brown, reddish, thomas braynt and reaves
shooters from 3, kuzma,bojan, reddish, walker. lakers may have at least four (4) players legitimate 3 points shooters and defense in the wing.
Most possible scenario I see is they still keep russ and dont make a trade to keep the picks and cap space. They'll retool nxt season and avoid the repeater tax lol. For standing either late lottery 11-12 or playin team. I think they accepted they will lose the pick swap lolakers
I feel Bojan and Kuz is the way to go

Best trade scenario for the lakers get Eric Gordon then trade nunn Beverly Christie you wouldn’t have to give up no picks for him and we shouldn’t mind trading Christie if we keeping our picks to replace him and plus we open mo cap with with two open roster spots
I also believe we should trade Damian jones for cam reddish and second round pick and then we sign demarcus cousins another skilled big man that can actually contribute and be valuable with ad is out
Kuz has already said he’s not interested in playing with Lebron and AD again. I cant blame him either.
Only way I'm trading a first for kuz is if we get delon wright as well.
As much as pat Bev sucks on offense , letting him go would definitely make our defense weak. The perfect trade would be
Pat Bev+ Nunn , frp for kuz , delon
Then trade russ + frp for Alec Burks,Bojan ,Noel.
Then trade Noel+ second rd picks for mo Bamba
Getting kuz & Cam should be top of the list
I wouldn't be mad if they get Bojan with 1 unprotected first, tbh I don't care about year 2027, so protected or not doesn't make a difference.
However I still don't think Bojan should be our first option. I'm pretty sure Bojan won't make us a contender, I don't think he's a perfect match. People forget why we want forward and size, it's because we need wing defence! A wing who can't help much in defence doesn't make a difference and doesn't meet our biggest need! Yes we also need some floor spacing ability, but we just need a guy to make open 3s, it's way much overkill to have another 20 pts per night pure scorer whom Bojan is, while we still have a series wing defence problem! LeBron+AD can give us 60-70 pts each night. Westbrook, Walker, Reeves, Schroeder and Bryant can each give you 15 pts per nights, we really don't need another sharp scorer, we need an elite defender!
And as you said, he's too expensive. But noted, it's not only about how much the pistons values him, his salary actually is a bigger liability. If you trade Bev+Nunn for Bojan, then that's it, you don't have enough expiring contract to make another meaningful deal unless you trade Westbrook or Walker. With his salary, you can easily get 2 solid 3D wings. E.g. with Beverly+Nunn+ unprotected first, I'd rather take Burks+Bey+5 million trade exception. potentially we get 3 useful players with the same salary. That gives this team more depth than just Bojan.
If we want to save the first round pick for another trade, we can swap Beverly+first round with Walker+ second round. I think Pistons would love to take Walker, and we can then package Beverly+first round for another great player.
I think Kuzma should be the number one option and he's the player gives everything we need
Speaking of Kuzma, I think it won't make them look foolish, because you are keeping Westbrook. If there's anything make them foolish, that's the trade they did last year.
Kuzma is a perfect fit to the current Lakers team, he was just not fit with Vogel, who is extremely stubborn and incompetent to play Kuzma probably.
About the cons you mentioned, I don't see a big problem here. He will have a big contract next year, sure, because he's so cheap right now! Which make the Westbrook trade last season even more silly. Even for his new contract around 20-25 mil, it isn't a lot higher than Bojan's current salary. But Kuzma is much younger and much more versatile
And about shooting, I don't know about this season, but in the Lakers days, he was very reliable 3-point shooter if you exclude all those tough buzz beater / half court shots he made. His real 3 pts % was nearly 40%. But someone has to make those tough shots, especially in Vogel's terrible offence system.
Why are they not considering getting gary harris and T. Ross? They probably could trade pat bev, k. Nun, and damian jones for them
I like Kuzma than Bogdanovic. Younger and better defender. Bojan is soft and aging. Kuzma is on the rise.
Why they let go Kuzma in the first place at that time? They just already left him and So, bringing back is not needed cause they need to bring in fresh blood who have the higher shooter and who can defended at the same time.. They should have kept matt Ryan..

Lakers need to give up a first rp for kuzma! He is totally worth his contract and is exactly what the team needs! I'd take him over bogdanovic, easily.
The Lakers are in need of 3 point shooter and they need more size on the wing. Getting Kuzman back and adding Cam Reddich would solve some or most of that. In time they will improve defensely.
