The argument for Dame is apparently his availability/age but even then itβs a bs argument when you consider AD who has been out for longer periods than Dame has, comes back with a monster few weeks and is ranked 8 like he didnβt just disappear for 2 seasons prior. Not saying itβs not deserved (because he is that good when healthy) but the standards are just different for Dame to win back the media perception apparently.

It’s supposedly based on recent results, so with Dame having an injury plagued season last year and missing half the games so far this year, it’s probably not far off honestly. He will climb back up the rankings to right around top ten if they keep updating through the season, as the header on the article says.

Honestly I am pretty okay with that ranking. My gut reaction was that he should be higher but I recognize that I have an emotional bias towards him
