Upper room 😂
That’s the neat part… you don’t
The reason Toronto contained Giannis, is that they had probably the best defensive team of the modern era. The Raptors had 4-5 DPOY caliber players in their rotation. Thats insane.
I hate when people talk about Raptor in 2019 . Giannis was 24years old then.
The answer is not clear. It is more of a pick your poison type of question. It is either you double Giannis/risk him to make the passes to his open teammates, or you defend Giannis’s teammates/allow Giannis to have a huge scoring and rebounding game.
Imagine thinking 2019 Giannis still exists
How about refs calling walks for starters.
Why they making a show about a guy with no skills? Shouldn't it be easy? It's just Giannis, yall. It's no big deal here. They should focus on Ja Ja Ja. We need a game plan on how to stop that Mr. Giant. He's The Guy we need to be taking about.
you’re better than this Legler, Giannis is far more polished with a better team compared to his 2019 Bucks
Its crazy roll players telling you how stop Giannis
Why are you guys talking about guarding Giannis. Like, are we instigating for NBA players to hurt him? Giannis is human and we all should be giving him credit instead of looking for his downfall. Come on guys! What's happening in today's world?
You can't stop him otherwise plus the reason the Bucks lost that series was because he was getting doubled and teammates were missing open shots it unfortunately happens.
its not as effective but I am still of the mindset that it’s the only chance you got. The suns let Giannis go off for games 3-6. Especially in game 6 I would have built the wall and if Middleton Lopez holiday portis and connaughton beat you from 3 shooting 38 percent or higher than I live with that. Like with all great players there really isn’t a great way to stop him but I think you have to try it. I think of the hack a shaq, where if shaq hit 1/2 every time you were screwed. 1/2 every time is doable even for shaq but it’s the best chance people had.
Toronto had all time defenders in that squad. Probably the best defensive team in the past 10 years
Giannis is the most overrated player since Westbrook. He is actually a 7foot Westbrook who doesn't do dumb turnovers. Def not a top 3 player tho, much less THE BEST in the nba. Brook Lopez leads nba in BPG and guards opposing team C or PF, yet I keep being told Giannis is this "defender"…fake news.
I think Legler is a great analyst and I'd love to see him in a coaching position
I find it funny how these clowns who don't even play basket ball all of a sudden think they know how to stop the Greek freak 😂
Giannis playmaking has gotten a lot better
Run and dunk
How do you stop a 6’11 dude that carries the ball on almost every play and bashes into the defense with no fouls called against him? You can’t.
Legs needs his own show called the break down. Breaking down critical parts of a game or a run or just a series.
Dinosaur Jefferson thinking he Rico suave again dude button ur shirt u not him
That title is crazy
Why don’t they do this for other NBA players? I don’t see ESPN showing how to slow down LeBron, or Curry.
Ok, we stopped Giannis charging straight to the rim. Now he has learned how to pass, to do some of Olajuwan tricks, everyone else can shoot 3s including their center and bench and they are a defensive team. Tbh, I'd rather just let them win another chip so their salary can blow up faster.
Giannis is looking at this Tim Ledger goofus and laughing his head off.
Do they talk how to stop LeBron James and other stars in details like this?
easier said than done… you have to be very fast to set your feet to not get the blocking call…
