[Dr Nirav Pandya] With news that Stephen Curry suffered a shoulder subluxation / labral injury here is a quick breakdown of the injury, the anatomy, treatment, and return to play timelines:

Not the worst case scenario for Steph’s injury, should be around 3-4 weeks of recovery mostly focused on getting strength back in his shoulder and making sure there’s no more pain. Almost all NBA players who have gotten this injury before have fully recovered with no lingering effects which is a good sign.

Honestly the best possible news. 3-4 weeks likely means 10-12 games missed so not a major chunk. We do have a 7 game homestand in between that hopefully we can pick up a few wins on. If we can manage to go like 4-8, we can still recover to get one of the play-in slots

    That’s the most important part.

Will be a tough 3-4 weeks, hopefully he’s 100% after. At least Wiseman can get some reps I guess :\

Is there some way we can hope for a few rainouts or postponed games the next few weeks?

    Any other sources of copium?

  5. Love that Steph/Dubs have orthopedic surgeon fans and they’re willing to put out these videos for free!

I know every visit I make to my orthopedist is like a $400-800 fee (thank goodness for health insurance)!
