1st. Zion lost this game. Zion is right under the basket and doesn't help rebound. 2nd. Willie Green bad coaching. He was right about valuing possessions, for He allowed the game to be a game while up 13 in the third. Willie should have kept Zion out there and put their foot on the Jazz throat. 3rd. They need to trade Kawai Leonard/ BI. If he is going to allow minor injuries to keep him out for a long time, he can do that on another team. He is getting paid 30 million to just sit on the bench. Soft!

Seriously though. This was an absolute disasterclass from a coaching perspective. That stretch in 3rd quarter where zion sat and he refused to call a timeout until we completely lost the lead was idiotic. Also that “block” on herb was egregious. What are u holding ur challenge for Willie? Herb ends up fouling out when he was a huge plus on the night. The fact that JV continues to play horribly and we see no hernangomez minutes when we’re getting killed on the boards is questionable to me. The fact that out of a time out our only plan is to let cj cook in isolation for the game is an indictment on the entire coaching staff. There’s so much more I could mention(like where was Dyson in the 4th) but honestly this loss is on Willie in my eyes. Sry for the rant.

The 7 win streak might be pure coincidence. I don’t see often all this won’t bow down culture in tough situation. With all the assets we had from AD and Jrue trade, being 1st in the western conference for 1 week in 3y Griff is really the minimum.

Regardless of the lineup and the team we play, Pels have issues with 3 things: missed free throws, turnovers, and defensively stopping the 3 on a pick and roll. Look at every game and those stats are not good. Jazz exposed that with us, plus they are very good at taking charges (sometimes flopping) and getting you in foul trouble.
McCollum plays like he has no brain sometimes. And it’s painful to watch without Ingram smh
