> The irony isn’t lost on Kyle Kuzma.
> After being on the trading block for pretty much his entire four-season career with the Lakers, L.A. has reportedly inquired about acquiring him from the Washington Wizards, as Bleacher Report first reported.
> “I think it just shows you the grass is not always greener,” Kuzma told FOX Sports. “It’s definitely a good thing because at the end of the day, that means I’ve been playing well, and I have value in this league, that a team would want to trade for me. It’s a blessing.”
> When asked if he believes the Lakers could’ve competed for another title last season had the Westbrook deal never happened, Kuzma shrugged.
> “Can’t say that,” he said. “That’s very tough. Depends on if people are healthy or not. … We would’ve been a solid team regardless, for sure. As I’ve been growing into who I am, and if they would’ve allowed me to grow that way, you never know what could’ve happened.”

Love Kuz
If the Lakers blow a pick to get the guy they already had back, that will be rich.
Please don’t trade for him. Not worth the trouble or the drama. And didnt he say he’d rather remain in Washington where he can put up more shots? He’s trying go get paid. Good for him but he’s not what we need right now.
Dude misses the LA thots so bad
As a magic fan, FKK
I feel like there’s too much smoke here now…? What do others think
His stats are the same as on the lakers he just has more usage. Dudes been the same player for 4 years
I really like Kuzma, but the only thing that makes me hesitate is that recent quote he had.
>”One night, you might get 10 shots. The next night, maybe they just need you to rebound. The next night, you might get 15 minutes. The next night, you might get 29 [minutes]. You never know. That’s [not getting] the fair end of the stick.”
I don’t know if he expects to take 17 shots in a night on a contender. I feel like teams that want to win will definitely expect him to just rebound some nights.
It was such an unnecessary trade from day one.
If Kuzma had managed to do ANTYHING in his last year when Bron and AD were struggling with injuries he would still be in LA, instead he did nothing and was awful in the playoffs vs the Suns, when again they needed an additional scoring punch.
That trade was awful, because Russ is an awful fit with Bron AND was clearly on the decline, but losing KCP, Caruso and Green the year before were way bigger problems then losing Kuzma for the Lakers.
Him being able to put up stats on a mediocre team doesnt change that
Wizards would just be farming us at that point. But seriously, I don’t think Kuzma can be Wiz Kuz on the Lakers.
It’s been fun watching the rhetoric on him change over the last 2 years on /r/lakers
Valley’s calling you Kuz
The grass can’t be green without water.
Is there another team that trades or releases its players and then wants them back like a yr or 2 later? Pathetic lol
